May. 11th, 2008 08:42 pmWe had a big dinner with the local moms in my immediate family. So, there was me, my mother, Jeri Fisher, my mother-in-law, Elaine, my sister-in-law, Yuko, and Dulce. Then we had my husband, David L. Jackson, my father, Tom Fisher, my brother, Matt Fisher, my son, Zeno Hanson, and my neice, Kana Fisher.
Bucco di Beppo housed our feast, and we had chicken saltimbocca (my favorite), spaghetti and meatballs, gnocchi, some pork thing, apple and gorgonzolla salad, cheesy garlic bread, two different kinds of dessert, pinot grigio, a smooth red wine whose name I forgot, lemon chello, and grappa.
It as awesome. I was surprised how much I ate! Zeno enjoyed asking for sips of the "white" and the "red". He is so smart. I offered him a sip of the grappa, but the smell hit him so hard that he couldn't sip it. LOL.
He saw me pour a small amount of white wine into a wine glass for him, and when I looked away, he grabbed my glass of mineral water and poured it into another wine glass for him - and didn't spill a drop!
What else.
I musta partied like a rock star last night because I slept until 4:30 PM when my parents woke me up knocking on the door.
