New prisoners
Apr. 20th, 2008 01:35 pmLast night, David came home with Zeno dangling from one arm, and several bags from different businesses in his other hand. He sets everything down except one bag, and proudly holds it up before me. The bag contains blue water, and 6 miscellaneous fish swimming around in it.
This is different from the time he brought the fire belly toad home, because these were random fish from a bate and tackle shop that he paid $1 for 6 fish. And he had a tiny little fish bowl to house them in.
I was upset. I didn't even know what to say!
He filled the small bowl with water, then added the rocks and the fish, and set it on the table so I could see how nice they were.
They looked crowded.
I asked, "are they going to be happy in there? Is there enough room for them? Can they get any exercise?" So, he went to target and bought a larger bowl. By the time the water was ready for the fish, 4 of them had died.
I forgot about them until I gimped past the chest they live on, and saw two gold fish swimming around.
