Jul. 25th, 2003 08:53 amWell. I guess it's time for me to head out West again.
I came to Austin in November of 1996 and have been here ever since (but with a short intermission in Dallas, lasting not quite one year). Austin has been good to me. I have had many amazing ordeals and experiences. I have made some wonderful friends. I have had my heart broken, and I have had much healing. I am now a totally different person that I was 7 years ago.
I am a traveler. I have the wanderlust again. I need to follow my heart and find new adventures. I want to be with my Lover, and the Sea. I want to study rocks at one of the best departments of earth sciences on the planet.
Texas has always been my home base. I always find my way back here, so far. I don't know what will happen this time. But this is not the last time my Texas friends and family will see me.
My date of departure is August 23 2003. I hope to spend as much time with my people as I can before I go.
I would love to tell all of my friends about this face to face, but I am finding that summer school is taking away all of my time. Therefore I am doing this the impersonal way - LJ. Nothing personal to my peeps. I am just hoping the grapevine will work in my favor.
